LeAnne Chancey Hicks is an experienced and highly skilled trial lawyer with a proven record of success.
LeAnne is originally from East Tennessee and obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Tennessee Technological University. LeAnne then obtained a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee, graduating in 2008.
LeAnne worked her way through law school by serving as a Civil & Environmental Engineer at CH2M Hill. She spent her engineering career in land development, designing utilities, storm water systems, sites and roadways.
Following law school, LeAnne spent time in the private practice of law advising small business owners before moving to Gwinnett County to join the District Attorney's Office. As an ADA, LeAnne was both a Juvenile and Superior Court Prosecutor and handled hundreds of criminal cases from traffic offenses to misdemeanors to felonies.
LeAnne is a skilled trial attorney and has acted as trial counsel in numerous cases to incude murders, rapes, aggravated assaults, child molestations, other violent offenses, drug offenses, white collar crimes, divorces, child custody matters, contract disputes, personal injury and insurance complaints, and many others.
LeAnne is very meticulous in her representation of each client. She puts her unique skills, abilities and varied work and life experiences to work in each case.
In her free time, LeAnne loves to spend time with her husband and her Jack Russell Terrier. She also enjoys hiking, biking, swimming and reading.
